Default Quick cam question

Ok, so I bought a used cam on here and it arrived today. Seller said it was sed for about 4k miles. Most of the lobes look perfect, but on some of the larger lobes there are a couple of spots that have a bit of roughness. I was just wondering if this is normal or if it wil affect how mt cam/motor performs. For the record the cam is a Comp 232/234 .595/.598 with the XE-R lobes. I'm just curious since i've never seen a used cam before.

Ok, here's a couple shots. Not great, but the best I could do with my cam and limited time. Both pictures are of the same lobe, but there are other lobes(3-5) that look similar. The spots that you see are what i'm talking about. Brownish in color, though I don't think it's rust. They feel slightly rough to the touch. Once again, I just need to know if this is normal wear for a cam used for 4k miles(which seller claims), or if it is abnormal wear, will it affect my usage of the cam. Thanks again!

pull the camera back a little bit next time. doesn't look bad, i have seen worse. 4000 miles and syn. oil, you would think it would have looked alot better.

So I should have no problems running it? I may be able to get better pics outside tomorrow.
