Default Oil Change Light Help

My oil change light is coming on for a few minutes and then goes off, This only happens when I first start the car. (Started happening last night)

The oil in the car only has 1500 miles on it (Mobil 1). I did reset the oil change light back then.

I was wondering why this would happen, I did install the new OEM Airlid from SLP last night. Could this be causing the problem?

Any help would be appeciated.

Thanks
Gary

I tried that and held for over twelve seconds, 3 different times, but it would not go off.

And then all of a sudden it went out?

Ghosts in my car?

Just make sure the ignition is in the ON position, but the car is not running. Then hold the reset button for 12s. Was the car running when you tried this?

Well I got it fixed, I called the dealership and they told me to push the gas pedal down 6 times with the key in the on position, and it worked
