Default turbo question

Ive got a question. How is it that there are 2 or 3 turbo kits out for the ls1 that work on the camaro and firebird and only cost 4 grand. Is there any way to modify these to work on a vette ls1? What are the differences that prevent us from using these kits instead of the ones they are developing that are going to be 7 g plus

I always figured you would be better off making your own turbo kit(a lot cheaper).Pretty much the only differences in tne kits might be the mandrel bends in the piping and turbo sizes and waste gate. All of these you can get a hold of yourself.Pipng you could get a muffler shop with a mandrel bend machine.Manifolds you may have to buy depending on turbo unless they work on the stock exhaust manifolds, wastegate and some vacuum lines etc...Anyway if you made your own kit you would come out cheaper IMO though. But hey I dont know everything.I pretty much look at it as a turbo, some fancy bent piping, and a wastegate. That should not cost 3-4grand.
