Question why is my cam sproket so close to......

i installed a cam, and when i put the retainer and its bolts back in and moved to the sproket, I noticed that the sproket is VERY close to the heads of the retainer bolts....i was 100% sure I used the correct bolts...the chain and sproket spin freely, no hittings or anything..I am just making sure...it looked dam close, BTW i torqued exactly to what HOWTO said...
Thanks

Erik

your fine. take a paper clip, strech it out and see how close the head of the bolt is to the back of the cam sprocket. then measure the paper clip thickness.
