Getting Bullet Muffler Installed, Where Do I Put It?
I've got a cutout and I'm trying to kill some of the interior resonance and was told that a Dynomax Bullet muffler was what I needed. I picked up a 4"x16" with 3" inlet and outlets, and wanted to know where exactly I need to put it in my exhaust to have the best effect on killing the drone and resonance. I've got stock headers and exhaust, only mod is the cutout, which is Zed style. Thanks for any help.

Yeah, that's what I was going to do. I should have been more specific, should it goes as close to the front of the car as possible or further back, or does it matter?

Well I'd consider the bullet as a big cutout and I think way back when the houston guys found that if you extend it to right before the rear was best. I don't know if this would be the same but thats where I'm putting mine once I get the exhaust back on

I was going to put twin cutouts near the front, but it would have been too close to the gound, just rememember the faster you can get echaust out, the faster you can get the air in <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
