I have a edelbrook muffler on my 5.3 lt. truck.I think it sounds good. It's deep when you crank it and when you hammer on it. But it is quiet when crusing. Not sure about the ls-1 catback.

I had the entire Edelbrock system (Headers and Cat-Back) on my old 93 LT1 T/A and I loved it. Of course that car had a ton of mods but it was definately the best sounding car I have owned. But I don't know how it would sound on an LS1, I tried something different on my LS1 starting off with the Flowmaster A/T and now the SLP Loudmouth... and now I'm looking for other options again <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> . I say give it a try and let us all know.
