hey guys
in preparation for my head/cam swap, i bought the gm gasket kit from TR....
I have some 5.3 heads coming...do I need a different set of head gaskets now? this just popped into my head..

I don't think so, unless the 5.3 have the notch that 853's have, and the head gasket doesn't have a provision for it. I'm not sure if they do, but a universal gasket kit is probably going to have provisions for the notch, since the heads w/o the notch could care less if that little piece of gasket is missing.

No the 5.3 accept standard LS1 gasket (no notch)
