Default Pulse count from speed sender?

Anyone know the pulse count from the stock speed sender? I`ve been trying to hook up a speedo and this calibrator is not working. <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">

Default Re: Pulse count from speed sender?

The speed sensor outputs pulses per driveshaft revolution, but most aftermarket speedometers expect it to be based on pulses per mile.

There should be a speed output on the pcm that is 4000 pulses per mile. Aftermarket speedometers should work with this when configured for a 4-pulse sensor.
