Msd Wires Go BAd?
I decided to change my plugs again today and replace my tr6's out with tr55's. I also wanted to check my Msd wires. I ohmed all of the Msd wires and Most of the wires were at 500 and below ohms and two of them were in the 1500 ohm area. Is this Bad if these wires are in that OHm area? Thanks <img src="graemlins/formula.gif" border="0" alt="[Pontiac]" />

MSD wires are suppose to measure at 30 ohms. I had one go bad before that wouldnt even get a reading. For all of yours to read that high, it sounds like your ohm meter is not setup properly???
These wires have been on my car for a year, thats why I posted this. Over time or from heat two were reading really high compared to the others. Thats why I posted this I didn't know if they were bad or not. Either way I had a set of Taylor 409's here that all ohmed under 30 ohms so I slapped them on there.
