Default Flywheel question

Alright, this ones for the truck guys. Im installing a 408 in my truck this early spring and am about to begin build but need a flywheel before the shop can balance the internals for me. Will a 5.3l flywheel work or do I need a 6.0 flywheel? I was told to go with a 5.3L unless im going with a 4l80E, which im not. I will be running a 4l60E.

Thanks guys,
Lurius

Ah, sorry. Good point. How do I move it? Or must I ask a moderator to do it?

Figured it'd go down like that. Lets see how long my thread will stand!

Anyways, I did a little more research on gmpartsdirect, and it looks like the old part# for the flywheel has been replaced with a newer model which covers the 01-06 model truck transmissions, with all motors.. So I think I found what I need.. 86$ on GM parts direct, or 140$ at a stealership. Considering, at that price, an aftermarket lightened flywheel.. Being a 5000lb truck I could use the faster reving im sure!
