Car & Driver TV (intake related)
Anyone see Car & Driver TV this weekend? They showed the yellow LS1 drag Camaro, and it has a new engine. Now it's running a 427 C5R, with a custom intake and dual TBs. Its not a cast piece, but not angled and cut sheetmetal either. It did look like a sheetmetal plenum, but curved around the edges and such. Hard to describe, I might try and draw a picture.
I think Wheel To Wheel Performance built it? Are they offering an alternate intake for sale?

I saw that episode. That intake looked SWEET! Can you imagine a dual supercharger setup with that intake? 1 S/C for each TB... <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0"> <img src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" border="0" alt="[hail]" />
One of the best C&D's I've seen in a long time.
That tigershark Vette was BADASS! <img src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" border="0" alt="[hail]" />
The SS truck was sweet too.
The reason the Yellow Camaro has an LS1 style motor in it now is they want to see how much they can get out of it. 700hp/700tq+ I think they said is what it's at now.
Jon Moss is going to do us right in the future I think. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Re: Car & Driver TV (intake related)
The yellow Camaro has always had an LS1 based engine. It was a 40X stroker for a long time (or was it ~412-415?) Still ran mid 9s on motor.
