LS1 blcok,,or LS6,,or Mutant??

LS1 blcok,,or LS6,,or Mutant?? i wnt in to do a PCV swap on my 2000 LS1 TA. It has the original engine and such,,,its pretty cool,,i like it alot. Anywho,,when removeing my LS1 valley cover, and mentally preparing to cut the lil square in my block off so the LS6 vally cover would fit,,i found, to my surprise,,,there was no lil chunk to remove, the LS6 vally cover fit right on with no cutting involved. Cool.
My question is, is my block an LS1?, or somehitng else? I have heard some stories of late year productions getting LS6 blocks and was wondering if i am one of the lucky ones,,,or if its just something else. Thanx all for the help
