u need to do some reaserch, example. what hp/tq u looking for, ask ur self this. "what di I want" of course were talking about cam choice. so it's a DD. what sre u willing to tolorate as for driveability. 112lsa will give u hp/tq at a lower rpm were as 114 and up will give u power at a higher rpm. lower lsa will give u more lopey cam, if can talorate "lopeing". then thats the choice. so what r u trying to accomplish? full hp/tq or more sound so public can say to u. " sounds like a beast, what do u got in there". do ur research first. figure out what u want.
I went more for sound, here's my set up. 01 WS6, m6,stock block, patriot ls6 59cc heads, kook lt, true duals dumped, 231/237 .589/.595 112 lsa . 418rwhp/389rwtq on stock gears/clutch. rev limit is set at 6500. peak hp is at 6200. I can bring that down if I would lower my lsa. think about it. on street u will seldom hit 6200 rpm unless ur crazy so i could lower it but, I want some streetablilty cause I dont go to the track often, love to cruise it and hear those compliments. so what do u want?
just trying to make u think here on what u realy want. any questions just ask here on this forum. very highly knowledgeable guys.

What are the durations and CI of each engine? Kinda sounds like an apples/oranges comparison. The overlap that results from the duration and the LSA will determine drivability. Especially with the 228/228 cam, a 110 LSA can have much less overlap than something like an MS3 on a 114.

Actually the car will be driven 5 times a week on average, and will spray 100 on the weekends

still have no answer to the equation: matching the 228R with the stall and the 3.73 gear + the nitrous "almost" daily drive

any body can solve it??

Now to the cam i would get the 110 + 4, this will give you more torque in the lower RPM's so that anyone you will race will be playing catch-up bc you will leave them out of the hole . Power under the curve is really what you want for a street racer. Now if you race 1/4 mile or more alot sometimes it's better to get a bigger cam so that you pull harder on the top side but not so hard out of the hole but thats where nitrous comes in at.

My 228R is 114 + 4 and I LOVE it. Great low/midrange torque and power peaks at 6300 RPMs....
