Dude... what are we going to do?
Call up FLP. Talk to Chuck or Dan... and tell them your prob. You do have a warranty on your headers coating. (I dont know for how long)
They would be the folks to help you.... not us.
All we can do is shake out heads and say, "Dang... that sucks".

I really dont want them to rust through but it looks like its going that way. I dont have the money either right now to ge these re-coated.
Nor Can I have my car down if I take these headers off to get recoated, I still need my car.
This just sucks. <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">

A little surface rust won't hurt anything. You should see the headers on my 91 5.0, 11 YEARS OLD, with no coating! Scary looking, but it works cause its a Ford. But anyway, call FLP, and if they won't do anything then just bead blast the headers and get a good coating applied. Hope everything works out....

From: HOU - yeah, you know the rest.
FLP needs to address this problem of theirs a little more wisely, rather then telling their customers to send it back to them after the product starts rusting. Which is a major inconvience for most. Instead they ought to look at switching their coating company. Seems to make more sense to me.
