98 heads (flow)

to prove to someone

are not the 98 (806 casting) heads the worse flowing of the ls1 car castings?

241, 853s and others?

unported yes they are the worse flowing heads out ther. ported is a nother story.

My 98's flowed just as much as 6.0l porting done by the same porter. Something around 320 @600

wtf? how is that possible... damn if that were true why would anyone get aftermarket heads... I dont think even the AFRs flow that well

If its true how much was the porting and who did it?

Yes stock for stock, most shops say they flow about 5 to 10 cfm less than the later 241 castings.
