turbo cam
The whole purpose of increased overlap is to promote cyl scavenging.
Way back, when wheels were still semi-square, forced induction was used for cyl scavenging, in diesel engines. So having both is kinda redundant.
Having a camshaft with alot of overlap could help or hurt, depending on alot of different factors.
If comp is too high, more overlap would help bleed off boost. But then you're self defeating with the cam swap.
If you dont know how long it will be before you go turbo, I think that would make me want to be a lil more aggressive in the cam selection. I would still stay in the 220-230@.050 with a 113 or 114 LSA. JUST MY OPINION.
FWIW, Kyles cam is pretty damn mild, and hes makin mad power. I think its like 228/228 .588/.588 on a 114 LSA. Somethin like that. Maybe he'll chime in.....
FWIW 2, The GREAT BIG cams for forced induction, like TF and promod ****, still have like 118 LSA. They're like .800 lift and like 720 deg duration (JK,LOL) and they're still 118 LSA

well thats what i was leaning towards was something similar to his, but wasnt sure if it would work with my motor, being stock and his being a fully built 370 iron block. didnt know if it work.
