Default Removing the CATS

I have herd conflictiong stories of removinf the catalytic converters. Some guys had told me that its not worth it for only 2-3hp. Others have said it worth upto 12-18hp. Can anyone give me a straight up answer.

You're looking at 10-12Hp gain in real #'S <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

If you sit idling anywhere for length of
time and they know cars.Pretty good chance
of being caught.If you do-it just put 02
simulators its easier than fighting codes

10-12 HP with removal of stock cats... but what about high-flow cats like the ones that come with FLP's. I think thats when u only see 2-3 HP. Correct me if im wrong?

I'd think that cats are cats; high-flow or not.

You can thin that bee-hive crap only so much before it stops doing the intended job <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

I beat my best time by over a tenth and over 1mph, so it would be safe to say its more than a 10hp gain.
