Not a stupid question at all. It does lower your compression. I did some calculations and my .080 - .090 flycuts were just over 1 cc.

Wow, this is **** to me... Ive been wanting to flycut but there is just not enough advice to satisfy me..

SOMEONE MAKE A FLYCUTTING WRITE UP PLEAAAAASSEEE... It would be so benificial to the community.
