Default Spark plugs

I've utilized the search function and found plenty of info on which plugs to use if I plan to use nitrous or a supercharger, but what is a good choice if I just want a good plug to replace the factory ones? The car is brand new and only has a few hundred miles on it, but I've heard horror stories about the plugs being gapped to hell and back from the factory, and get the impression that the factory plugs are sub-par even when gapped correctly...thanks.

NGK TR55 are the most common N/A replacements...thats what i run <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Yep, I recommend the TR55's as well for an N/A plug. I have mine gapped at .050".

Beru Silverstone plugs, are the best. Iam not sure if they are compatible with nitrouse or blown engines?

i just installed TR55's. I noticed an increase in gas mileage =). Anyway the install really wasnt all that terrible. the #8 plug is a pain. but you can get it. And plus they are $2 each. Pretty cheap if you ask me. anyway good luck !
