Default Need Cam-Only Advice on Specific Setup

I am doing research on a cam-only mod on an A4 F-body for some really good power. I know more stall and gear will be needed, but here are some need-to-know things:

Cam-only swap with valve springs (need to have good valve clearance)
Stock, unported heads (won't even be unbolted)
Stock LS6 Intake and TB (Air Lid and 85mm MAF installed)
Stock '02 fuel injectors

The reason is that I have alot of the supporting parts needed to get even more on another car that I don't want to buy duplicate parts. Here they are:

PP Stg2 LS6 Heads with welded 59cc (11.2:1 CR)
1-3/4" Coated Headers, Catted Y-pipe, Cat-back, and cutout
37# fuel injectors and 255L/hr in-tank pump
ATI SuperDamper

I know more will come out of these parts, but I can't get them now. These parts will be taken off the other car. I am looking at getting about 3600rpm stall TC and installing 3.42 gears. So for now, I just want a cam-only swap and need some suggestions.

PP Stg2 LS6 Heads with welded 59cc (11.2:1 CR)

Are these stock valved , what I read you plan on putting these in place of the stockers later on, you need to get a cam that will clear after the heads are on.

What size cam do you want 220's / 230's / 240's

The smaller cam will clear but the dynamic compression could be to high for pump gas at 59cc with the normal 112 /114lsa .
The larger cam with a later IVC will drop the DCR to a usable pump gas level at 59cc. This may more than likely require putting valve releifs in your pistons.

So you cant just put in any cam for now and swap on 59cc heads. End result of doing so may either detonate or have p/v contact .

Their are ways around this { cam timing, headgasket thickness }that more of an expert can explain but thats just the basics I mentioned .

Best thing is to pick a cam you want ,find what cc it makes the most dynamic compression at with a .040 thickness headgasket at your octane level, let the static compression end up where ever, and flycutt as needed to get it to clear .

Please don't talk to me like I am a newbie. I gave you the info on what I want and I don't need an engineering class. What I wanted to know is which camshaft would be best with I can get by with on the first set of items. Other than that, there are no limits. The PP heads are not milled. They were welded and resized chambers to 59cc. But I will worry about that when I get there. For now, stick to the first list.

Youre really selling yourself short with the stock exhaush manifolds.

The TR CheaTR cam is about the only cam specifically made for stock mani's.

What kind of loss is there using the stock manifolds with some of the larger camshafts?

In a word, HUGE.

I dont want to tallk down to you like a newbie, but youve got a lot of serious reading to do. Unless you have very specific needs, rule of thumb says you dont even think about modding internals until after LT headers and exhaust. You will not be happy with a LARGE camshaft on stock manifolds thats for sure. The larger the cam shaft, the free-er the exhaust needs to be. I guarantee you throw a big cam in there and the motor will be a turd.

OK, let's ignore the exhaust manifolds, what about the rest?

I would go with something small or get headers and a decent size 230ish cam.

Get some LT's then throw on a MS3 Great cam and not a huge lift but will definitely show some great gains. Even when the other heads are put on i bet there still will not be any P/V problems.
