Default lookin to change from 231/237 TO....

The car i just bought has Patriot performance stage 2 heads (59cc), and a 231/237 cam...it made 43X hp and 420 Tq on a mustang dyno...their good numbers i know but im just lookin for a lil more...would it be worth it to change from the 231/237 to a MS3 or MS4 or something even a lil bigger?

im running 315 sumitomos and i cant go 1/2 throttle when running anything over 2K RPMS unless i wanna slid sideways and scare the hell outta whoever is riding with me...the guy that owned the car befor me with the above setup ran 7.3's al day long with BFG DR's

its a fun street cam but im wanting something with a lil more grunt and top-end...for an A4 though id say its your best bet...shouldn't have to worry about running a HUGE stall and the 231/237 cam does sound AMAZING IMO

If it were me I'd leave the cam alone. With 59cc heads you will have to flycut to fit the MS3 or MS4 in. I would finish off your setup with a ported 90/90 and be done with it.

That's actually some pretty good advice. STVthis, do you think you'll be okay on the street sacrificing the low end when you step up to a bigger cam? Wht gears do you have? On the street, I would think your cam is about as aggresive as you'd want. With 59cc and Patriot Stage 2 heads (non stock valves) with that cam, I'm going to assume you have flycut pistons already. Did the previous owner mention anything about the pistions being flycut?
