Default ticking noise above 1500rpm

open both sides vlv.covers.pushrods are straight,check rockers,springs and retainers all okay.what could it be?all opinions are welcome.change plugs and wires too. <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">

Are you running headers? If you are, could be the AIR valves chattering. Happened to me and seems to be common.

Rex....did you check all the headers bolts? Maybe one backed out on you.

Check the AIR pump fittings on the headers, the Y pipe etc., could just be an exhaust leak somewhere. A cracked plug will also make stupid ticking sounds too.

runing mac headers w/orp.will check air pmp.fittings tomorrow.thanks psj.hey todd check all header bolts-all tight.at least got rid of my ses light after I changed plugs and wires.po300,327 and 332.thanks to you too sparky.will bring it to BSM and have bode look at it tomorrow see what his opinion.thanks again guys. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
