Default Main Cap Bolt Question

On an LQ4, are the main cap bolts torque to yield or are they re-useable?
Thanks-Dominic

Yes they are torque to yield you will need to buy new ones if you are doing a rebuild. The part numbers for the GM inner torque to yield main cap bots are 12560272 and 12560373. You need both part numbers for the tall studs and bolts. The cross bolts that go from outside of the block into the caps are re-useable just be sure to put a dab of thread sealer on them.

negative ghost rider torque to yeild bolts are not reusable. If you got the minerals I would go and buy a set of a.r.p main bolts and side bolts.
