Anyone with a Hooker Aero-Chamber Muffler?

Anyone with a Hooker Aero-Chamber Muffler? My car has a Flowmaster 80 series muffler, and IMO it has way to much drone & resonance. What is the Hooker Aero-Chamber compared to the Flowmaster? I understand that the Hooker muffler is the same as the one used on their cat-back system, which everyone seems to agree sound awesome.

Re: Anyone with a Hooker Aero-Chamber Muffler? I don't think it's the exact same muffler that they sell with their cat-back. I know a few people on here have tried to order the cat-back muffler with no success. I'm not sure how well the one you can order sounds.

Re: Anyone with a Hooker Aero-Chamber Muffler? I had the Hooker cat back on my Z28 so when I got my 99 Formula, I replaced the stock muffler with the Hooker muffler. I talked to Hooker rep on the phone. He said very rarely that they might have a cat back system with damage and they will sell the muffler. But he didn't have one, so I went with the common Hooker muffler. The difference is the cat is 3" in, the replacement muffler is 2.5.
The muffler sounded very good. I drove across country and no resonnance, just a very sweet spot in the mid 1500 rpm range that makes you want to keep it there. I had several comments on it.
I ran it at the track. I pulled mid 13's all night long in 90* Texas heat. The muffler was the only mod. My car sounded better than any system at the track that night. Especially a white Z28 with a custom single 3" in/out flowmaster. I beat him by .4, so I canrecommend the Hooker.
Of course, it's not even close to the sound of the Dynomax Ultra Flow welded muffler #17227.
