Oil restrictor plug install.

Oil restrictor plug install. For the part in question that looks like a barbell (part# 12558340 as I read on this forum to be the correct part number) there is a o-ring on one end. I have had my engine apart for awhile and it appears someone misplaced my old one, so I need to buy a new one.
My question is which end goes in first? The end with the o-ring on it or the opposite end?
Also, does anyone have the part number for the o-ring for the oil pickup tube, and does anyone have a pic of the front oil gally plug that I hear is on the front drivers side, cause I am not sure I remember seeing that. I read on another thread that there is one located there. I read that the part number on that is 09427693

Opposite end in first, o-ring end towards the ouside. The oil galley plug plug is a small metal plug like a core plug . It is directly in line with the Barbell restricator, just on opposite ends of course.
