Need help with specific cams. Ok, I have looked into a couple cams that have some great feedback. I want to put a cam that will pull nicely in the mid rpm range. I know it sounds stupid, but I'm not tremendously concerned about which cam makes the best horsepower. I'm after a good sounding cam with a moderate lope that has useable power. My car will hardly ever see the track, so powerfull cams at high rpms might not be the way to go. Currently the car is a M6 with 4.10's, lid, pacesetter headers and ORY and, magnaflow catback. I will be putting partiot gold double springs with hardened PR's into stock '98 heads.
This is not a daily driving car but I would like to be able to tune for a decent idle. Since the '98 heads realy suck, I will be putting a better set of heads on the car (still a ways off). Let me know if I'm heading in the right direction. If you have a cam you would like to recomend please if possible include a sound clip and some dyno numbers. I have found a good tuner and I won't mind re-tuning after a new set of heads go onto the car, since it will be later on down the road. I would like to hear some pro's and con's from people who have had these cams before, since it is hard to test drive each cam.
If you have some sound clips of these cams I would love to hear them!
