Really you cant just jump in with no real knowledge and listen to people on the net giving you suggestions on what to get, you need to do research and learn what all these different parts play into the scheme of things. The problem people have is that they will actually just listen to what others tell them with no real knowledge of what they might buy. My telling you to get that tiny cam is a perfect example of what i mean. You may have called a shop to have them grind that cam for you if a few of us told you it would be good for 400 HP.
Do reading up on everything from boltons to how cams work, valve timing, and compression. Eventually you will have a good understanding of everything and will be able to figure out what setup will work best for your goals.
