Default XE-R cams and XE cams?

What exactly are these cams?

Any info on them?

I was considering design #3722, and I see that it recommends the 977 springs and 875 lifters. Does anyone know how the 977's compare to the 918's?
Hey John C., are you running the stock lifters with your new cam, or did you upgrade them when the engine was rebuilt?

I am running 3722s with 918s and stock lifters with no problems. Only a few hundred miles on the new setup though, but hard ones!

I've spoken to quite a few about the 918 springs, and everyone says that they're going to be great. I've been talking a LOT to Brent Singh (works with Judson Massengill on his SS), and both Brent and Judson really like the 918. I wonder what the 977's are all about.
I might have to call Comp again to ask about the lifters. I want to check it out if they're highly recommending new lifters. I guess the XE-R's are the poorman's solid-rollers w/ out the solid lifters. I can only hope that I actually get a competent tech this time.
