Need Head Gaskets!!!
I posted this in the other section too.I need a source for head gaskets other then GM.They changed the part numbers and you have to buy a complete gasket set now instead of just individual gaskets and $300 for head gaskets is carzy!!!!Any help would be appreciated!!!!
they lied to you....chevy still sells the head gaskets seperately...call another dealer up...and if they dont, call one of the sponsors up......i know Speed Inc has them in stock or can get them in one day for you...
I was told the same thing from Hudiberg Chevrolet in Fort Worth.. I went round and round with the guy telling that was insane!! $260 for a set of gaskets.. You have to be kidding me.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

I have a set for the ls1 on my tool box Im gonna use when I put the motor back together. I havent used them before so I can comment on them but they look pretty good...3 layer steel with an "O" ring embossed. Cost me 170 a set though.
