Default Need suggestions for replacement valves

Hello all, my first post on this message board. Well to give you a little background several weeks ago I did the infamous 3->2 misshift in my 99 SS and after finding 4 bent pushrods and losing compression in Cylinder #5 I knew I had to pull the heads. Well heads come off and like 4 valves are bent. Therefore I'm currently in the process of choosing new valves. Since I have the engine apart I'm putting on SLP long tubes, a cam TR 224/224 .561/.561 114LSA (with 918 CC springs, and hardened pushrods with titanium retainers), and LS6 intake. I would just like to hear your recommendations for what you engine wizards would recommend me get for aftermarket valves for my stock heads? Or is this a waste of money at this point going with something other than stock? I'm not ready to get the heads ported as I don't feel I have the knowledge necessary, yet, to make a good informed decision nor do I have the extra money due to the money spent on other things thus far. I have the heads at the machine shop and they are cleaning them up and are going to do a 3 angle valve job on it. Now from some research I've done thus far it looks like the stock valves for the LS1 are 2.000 for the intake and 1.55 for the exhaust. I've also read that the 2.02 and 1.57 valves will work with the stock seats. Now my question is which should i go with since I'm not getting any kind of porting/polishing etc at this time. Also, I have read that the Ferrea valves are an excellent replacement. Some other F-body people have also suggested that I clean up some of the rough casting in the head with my dremel to smooth some of the rough areas out, not to actually port them. Not sure how comfortable I feel doing something like this since this is really the first time I've ever had to go any further into the engine than to check pushrods one previous time, although I have had to change 2 clutches :-). Also, what other tips would you guys suggest for me while I have the engine torn down this far. I'm not really looking to spend any more money on these things but if there was things I could do my self to make the car run better/stronger then I would appreciate any suggestions you guys have.

Regards,
Chris
