Re: GM top end cleaner......Harmful to MAF? I wouldnt decarb motor very often, and you should change oil after doing it. Decarb is hard on cats and o2 sensors, be carefull. If you stop oil consumption, you should be able to keep motor clean with hard full throttle runs.This is the best way, it keeps valve seats clean of broken up carbon also. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

If you are not going to take my advice from other post about using fuel filter between pcv valve and hoses going back to valve cover, then i would use new GM pcv to help oil consumption. As far as top engine clean i would try spraying into pcv first, if this doesnt cut it then i would try spark plug hole method.Remember to change oil after you do either. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: GM top end cleaner......Harmful to MAF? No not unless you have hi mileage, spray wont effect pcv valve in any way. I would keep stock pcv with filter deal. I think the fuel filter deal is good idea for any LS1 even if you dont have large oil consumption because it will prevent detonation from oil contamination into combustion chamber.
