Default milling question

How much milling is required to bring a set of 98 heads up to 10.8:1?

On a fully stock motor I believe you have to mill .035.

I thought 97 and 98 LS1's were 10.8:1 and in 99 they went to 10.1:1?

SStrokerAce:

What would the compression be by milling 6.0L heads .030, .040, .050, & .060? I think alot of people want to know this question on here. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

between .030 and .035

If you mill .030 you will reduce the chamber about 6cc or about 10.74:1 when you go .035 you are now 7cc's smaller, and about 10.88:1

I hope that helps
