How do I pass the sniffer with a T1?

How do I pass the sniffer with a T1? I have a 2002, so no HPP3 yet, right? If I have a stock engine (and MTI lid) with a T1 cam, what should I do to pass the sniffer? I'm guessing visual won't be a problem...

Re: How do I pass the sniffer with a T1? States vary as far as how many HC are alloted. But in answer to your question:
1.) make sure you have good cats
2.) Make sure the cars not running pig rich
nows a good idea to bust out that MAFT
and lean it out (when test time comes)
3.) drive around for hours, dont turn off the
car and pull it directly onto the rollers.
I did a pre-test with my old comp 212/218 cam and found that when I did not shut off the car and rolled it STRAIGHT onto the smog rollers, it passed much much much better than letting the car sit for 5 minutes.
Im sure NC is nowhere near as Strict as Cali, so you should be fine. lucky guys you! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Re: How do I pass the sniffer with a T1? Yeah, HCs are like 220 parts per whatever here. No rollers, they just pop the hood for the visual and stick a sniffer in the pipe. They rev it to about 2500 rpms for about a minute.
