Default Oil Pressure

What are you guys running in terms of oil pressure? I have a 98 TA with 10K on it, and I am only running 20 at idle and 40-50 at WOT. This goes against the rule of thumb of 10 psi per 100 HP. THanks

Default Re: Oil Pressure

You have what GM considers appropriate oil pressure. I run a 150/1000ths shim in my oil pumps to increase pressure. This usually gives me 60psi (cold), and around 90psi revved up (cold). It maintains 50-60psi when hot (220-250 degrees) at all times.
