Freak...YOU DA MAN! Thanks for the helpful hints. I am installing a set on my buddies 98 camaro this weekend. I am painting his with the same stuff you did. He wants to run true duals with some Magnum race mufflers and turn downs.

Geez, this is an old post...

The paint I used burned off, I think it was a combination of the lean condition causing high exaust temps and the fact that I didnt clean them up like I should have before I painted them (I was anxious) I may take them off again and repaint them this summer.

A good spot for the hooker's(headers you smartasses) would be Jet Hot coating. They were offering a payment plan on these, but am not sure if they still do so. Makes LT's very affordable!

Hey freak, i talked to you at milan a couple weeks ago. We just installed a set of hookers on a buddys 00. The egr pipe got twisted up a bit to try and make it fit. We might just take the whole thing off anyway.

I went to St Thomas Canada Satruday and got a 12.93@110.9 with a lid, filter, and hooker cat back.

So did you get any track times with some tire yet?

Just need an LS6 intake before I pull the EGR so I dont have abig hole in the intake

sounds like you have a godd runing car, and you seem to be able to drive , unlike me. I would like to hear that catback one of these days, was that on street tires?

I havent gotten tires yet, I'm still afraid or diff explosion. Im gettin the parts for the 9 inch together, I know a guy who is taking a trip to florida where he knows a guy that can get pretty much any center section I need cheap. Hes gonna find me a good one while hes there. He knows what to look for as far as cases and posis and what not (He owns Blue Oval News, so hes a ford guy). so hopefully sometime in june Ill have the rear in and tires on, then Ill be shooting for low 12s
