car turns on fine, and idles fine.

but i put it in reverse, a bad voilent jolt and turns off.

i put it in drive, and drove about 10 feet, felt fine.

i popped it back into reverse, and turned off again. WTF?!

 

Have you made any changes to the tune. Do you have any logging software? Any codes showing up? Need more input.

car has been running the same as now for the last 1-2 months. when i had a wideband tuned back then.

other than that, the car has been taking me to work monday-friday with no issues....

dammit.

Put it on ramps and stands and see if you can go into reverse.

Sounds like transmission to me to, unless somehow the engage linkage is pinching/breaking some wire or connection.

 

drop the pan, and hope that it's not chunky
