P/N question concerning "new improved" Head Gaskets >> I am in Korea now, so its a little hard for me to get part numbers.
I understand the new style head gasket P/N is
12573949. I have heard that it can be used on either side of the motor. (hense, only 1 part number) Is this correct? I understand this P/N will only get you 1 gasket, so 2 are needed when ordering. Am I correct?
Lastly, does anyone know if these head gaskets can be ordered seperatly, or are they part of the "head replacement kit"?
I would rather buy them seperatly instead of the complete "kit"
Anyone buy head gaskets lately?

It is 12565390 and when you plug it in to Gm Parts Direct is comes up as individual headgaskets with a list of around $20. Hope this helps. I'm about to order some myself and the dealer close to me says this is a good p/n also.
