Default 98 vs 99-02 PCV Valve the same? Quick!

I am running 99-01 heads.

I have no pcv for the driver's side rear valve cover... it's got a 90 degree bend if I recall, maybe about 1/2" in diameter.

I might have found a 98 one. But it's vertical? Anyone know if the 98 will plug into the 99 valve cover?

Here is what I was told by Mikey about 2 yrs ago when I did my vertical mod.
The '99, you can unplug the hose on the rear driver side which leaves a rubber gromment. Plug the PCV into the gromment and hook a 3/8" hose onto the PCV and run to the intake. Unplug and block off the rear passenger PCV line. This makes an excellent cross-ventilation PCV system. Too bad it don't work on my '98.
