Default TR224 shift MPH?

I currently have my pcm programmed to shift at 6500 with a 6800 limiter. My pcm is going back to Ed next week for some other changes and I was thinking about taking the limiter up to 6900 and shifts up to 6600. Would there be any gains from doing this or is it just useless wear on the motor?

Thanks.

Jim

ttt.......

I'm curious about this question also. I've got this same cam with big valve ported heads and was wondering what the optimum shift points were for the tr224.

I had initially planned on setting it up exactly as Jim had 6500/6800.
