Default hotcam question

Is it a bad or good idea to get better pushrods when installing a hotcam kit?

Go with stock push rods.. they are cheap and
easy to replace with respect to valves or worse.
The push rods act like fuses when thing
go wrong. (mechanical over-rev) for example.

I replaced mine with Comp 7.400" pushrods when I did my hotcam since I don't personally like weak pushrods. It's not required, though.
As I recall the stock LS6 pushrods are the same part number as the LS1's (at least the '01 was).

I kept my stock ones and they are working fine for me.
