Default HV oil pump after SC install

hi,
would it be necessary after a Supercharger install, like Vortech, which take oil from the engine oil system, to change the stock oil pump to a High Volume oil pump?

You dont HAVE to change the pump, but if you are spending like $6-$7K on the Vertech (if you going for complete kit) may aswell sling in a new uprated pump for $150 or less. for a little extra money on top its best to have that peice of mind.

heard somewhere that it could happen that the oil doesn't flow back down fast enough if using a HV pump, so that most of the oil is in the heads, which could result in a pump thats drawing air....
