Default Compression Test?

Will a compression test tell me what kind of pistons I have? The reason Im asking is because I dont know if anythin has been done from the pistons down.

No, it will just tell you what the PSI through the cylinders are. The values should all be close to each other for each cylinder.

If you want to know what kind of pistons you have take the head off or rent a borescope and stick it through the spark plug hole. Good luck finding one of those to rent though. I only have access to one because I work on helicopters. Or just assume that you have all stock internals.... that would be a safe bet too!
