what the difference in 853 heads and 241 heads. have a chance to pick up 241 my car has 853. thanks

performance wise none there better castings and newer thats it!Porting is what makes ya go fast yeah!

241's flow just a little better than the 853's. We did the swap on my buddies 99' C5. Cheap set of $100 241's, I hand ported them just a little. He had nice results..He's currently making 413/381 to the wheels. He has a 232/236 114 cam, 85mm Zo6 MAF, ported stock 241 heads, LS6 intake, Kooks headers and 3" xpipe all going through the stock mufflers(yes stock mufflers)..So if you can buy everything cheap enough and your on a real tight budget, you can get nice results...
