This is true, I plugged numbers into 2 or 3 other calculators and came out with the same numbers.

I questioned the accuracy of the calculator because the numbers it generates do not match the manufacturer's specifications. I did use this calculator when putting my current combo togather, but only for comparison purposes (comparing my proposed combinations to combinations that were known to work well for others). If this calculator is accurate, then there are alot of people successfully running around with alot more DCR than is generally recommended. (In which case, we should revise our DCR target range upward.) Conversely, if it is reading too high, then there are alot of other people putting combinations togather with less than optimal DCR. (Leaving power and throttle response on the table.) I've seen some other calculators that match this one, and others that are different. Which one's are correct? Honestly, I don't know or care...because if you use it as a comparison tool vs other combinations (as I did), rather than trying to attain some absolute number, it really doesn't matter.

Edit: I actually really like the Pianoprodigy calculator; it is easy to use and formatted nicely. My only concern is that the generally accepted DCR target range may be too conservative against this calculator's output.

Not to hijack, but I want to run the DCR numbers on the GM Hot Cam, but can't find the zero lash/lift specs. Has anyone run the calc's on the GM Hot Cam and stock LS1?
Thanks, I'd appreciate it.
