Default ***CAM QUESTION***

Will another cam work in a 4.8 Like a 6.0 or 5.3 or even LS1? If not what cam should I get? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

I believe if u have an LS1 motor whether it is a 5.7, 5.3, 6.0 or whatever; all cams should be compatible.because the only thing that would change ci(cubic inches) would be the bore, crank,or connecting rods, that is it.

Would I see any horsepower gains though? If so about how much?

the 4.8 is an "ls1" and yes that cam will fit in there, not sure about the specs on it, but im sure for as cheap as u pick it up for it would be fine, as long as your not looking for a huge gain
