I have a red 01 ss with most of the bolt ons. It's my dd and i'm looking for a cam thats gonna give it some extra juice, but still have a solid idle and not be obnoxious around town. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of 220-224 duration and .560-.590 lift, with 114 lsa. How does this sound for my purposes? Also, would I also need to replace the valve springs or pushrods with this moderate type cam? thanks.
