I have the TR224/114 cam. Used the HPP3 to raise the rev limiter to 6500. SES light went off for about 10 miles came back on. After 4 days of driving after HPP3, the SES light went off without me doing anything. So far its 300 and more miles on it since the SES light dissappeared? Is this bad? good? did I lose power? Did the computer learn it and now is compensating for it? I am confused.
I have a 01 Auto SS
FLP LT's, MMS TB
and the TR224 cam, I am confused, ideas?

Sounds like the P0300 - Random misfire code. Nothing to worry about. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> I would just check the code to see if that's what it really is via an autotap or Tech2.

You will continue to set the misfire code until you have it deleted from the PCM. What happened was the PCM detected the required amount of misfires and set the SES light. If the PCM does not detect the required misfires again after a certain number of key cycles, it will turn the SES light off. However, the code is still stored in your DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) list.
