T1 Cam is in!!! First Impressions!!! All I can say is OMFG!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
I love the cam, choppy idle, great power no surging/stalling even with no tuning, idles at 850 rpms consistently, no codes, you couldn't ask for a more perfect and streetable cam, IMO <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Thanks again to Vince for the cam, and a special thanks to Jason Spiller for busting his *** for me installing the cam, and puttting the car back together! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
I made alot of people a believer this weekend with this cam. Those who weren't in the know about this cam, now are. I have recieved many props, and this summer when I do my stage 2 heads along with an LS-6 intake mainfold, you can bet that they will be from no other than MTI! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Thanks to all who have helped! This is a beast now! You cant beat the sound through the headers, no cats, through the cutout! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Re: T1 Cam is in!!! First Impressions!!! When you get custom tuning you wont even notice the cam as much. My idle was set at 950rpm and after a while the car idled like stock... Once you floor it the car just wakes up..

As soon as I get my few other "little" mods installed that are laying around in my garage, and the LS-6 intake manifold put on, with some tuning, I'll be out there quite often. I just cant decide to get tuning now (dont really need it at all, but would pick up some more ponies) or wait till I get my heads, that way I wont have to re-burn the prgramming, (and waste money) just for a months wait.....

Re: T1 Cam is in!!! First Impressions!!! MTI sells them new for $450, and the CC 918's for like $189.... They also have a complete valvetrain upgrade package, which sells for $399, wich includes the CC 918's Ti Retainers (not necessary) and Chromoly hardened pushrods.... I bought the cam from Vince for $275, and bought the CC918's from MTI directly... VERY High quality cam! I couldnt ask for more!

I had mine tested w/out the cats on and mine passed at idle barely.. I mean I was on the line.. My idle was set at 950rpm.. If you get the tuning dead on I think you would have no problem. The B1 I think would pass for sure..
