When replacing lifters what needs to be done?

Default When replacing lifters what needs to be done?

Do I just drop them in and call it good?Or is it more to it than that.I am getting the comp lifters by the way if this was needed info.Thanx alot.

If by saying "just drop them in" you mean pull off the heads, remove the lifter holders, put in the new lifters, and rebolt the holder down, then yes...you just drop em in.

The lifters also need to be soaked in oil for a bit before you install them...they'll come with instructions for that part.

Lifter preload should also be watched a little closer with them...they probably wont be as sloppy as the stock ones.
