Default Paging Pro Stock John lifter/ question?

if the comp lifters are not installed at .025 and installed at .050 what will happen.Not as good of performance....motor may go....Thanx bro.

He played some golf this morning, it wasn't pretty.

.050 is okay per some senior folks at Comp, ie the top cam designer there. He suggested zero lash or just past it for optimal power but most of us will not want to run a valvetrain that loose. I've got around .030 preload on my Comp R lifters.
